About Us

Hobart Enterprises, Inc. dba Taylor Rental Center was established in Greenville in 1979 by father Charles Lawson Hobart, Jr. and son Charles (Chuck) Lawson Hobart III. The original location was at 1570 Highway 1 South, and opened renting items such as tables, chairs, china, pressure washers, air compressors, lawnmowers, floor sanders, hospital & baby beds, wheelchairs, and exercise bikes. With the growing inventory & business, the need for a bigger space and yard was imminent. An adjoining lot was purchased and construction began. In 1985, the new location opened at 1560 Highway 1 South. Charles retired in the early 1990s, and Chuck continued to run the family business. The business has experienced steady growth and has celebrated over 40 years of serving the greater Delta area for all your construction equipment and party rental needs. Today, our rental items range from contractor equipment to homeowner tools to party & event rental items.

We are the leader in the greater Delta area for wedding, party, and event rental needs. Our professional team will work diligently in creating your vision by making your event our top priority. Our friendly, welcoming staff are delighted to lend their years of event planning experience helping you make your event happen. No matter how big or small, we are happy to work to fit your budget. We offer a little bit of everything from tents, dancefloors, staging, & lighting to linens, tables, & chairs. We offer rentals for china, glassware, flatware, and linen napkins, as well as carry disposables of paper and plastic plates, cups, flatware, and napkins. Also, our inflatables and concession equipment rental and supplies are great for birthday parties and festivals. We are always improving and expanding our collection of party and event items for creating the most innovative and memorable parties and events.
